Psalms 109:

8 Let his days be few and let another take his office.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

This is the biblical passage that Southern Baptist Pastor Wiley Drake of Buena Park uses in his monthly "imprecatory prayers". If you aren't familiar with the term "imprecatory prayers", you aren't alone. Basically these are prayers asking God to curse one's enemies. I was going to give you a link but I suggest you look up the term yourself and read several of the entries. It's rather eye-opening.

You may have heard of Pastor Drake's use of these prayers asking God to kill President Obama:

That ought to be horrifying to everyone and yet some found it humorous and made use of this scripture from Psalms on bumper stickers and t-shirts:

Now we learn that Drake sent out an email suggesting that the death of Rep. John Murtha may have been an answer to the prayers he and his followers have been praying the past 4 or 5 months.

I hope there will be a special place in hell for people like Drake.

Do these people realize there's probably a special place in hell set aside for them? What is WRONG with them! I think they cut the red letters our of there bibles.

I think what makes me angriest about this sort of thing is that non-Christians see this and then don't want anything to do with Christianity.
